Remove the beans from their pods and boil in water with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and some salt.
When they are tender take them out, drain and set aside.
Chop the onions and garlic and fry in a pan with the rest of the oil. Add the ham cut in 1cm wide strips and then add the pine nuts.
Fry for 3 minutes and add the beans.
Serve immediately.
